　　(1) too much与much too

　　too much意为太多,修饰不可数名词

　　much too意为太,非常.修饰形容词,副词原级

　　He often eat too much meat. So he is much too fat.

　　他经常吃很多肉,所以他非常胖.

　　(2) such与so

　　such做形容词,意思是那样的,如此的,修饰名词

　　so做副词,意思是那样地,如此地,修饰形容词,副词

　　I have never seen such a big table.

　　I have never seen so big a table.

　　我从没见过如此大的桌子.

　　It was such an interesting film that all of us liked watching it.

　　It was so interesting a film that all of us liked watching it.

　　这是一部如此有趣的电影以至于我们都喜欢看.

　　(3) -ing形容词与-ed形容词

　　-ing形容词说明事物的性质特征,意为令人……,通常物做主语.

　　-ed形容词主要说明心理状态,意为感到…….,通常人做主语.

　　The computer game is very interesting and many children are interested in it.

　　这款电脑游戏非常有趣,很多小孩都感兴趣.

　　(4) alone与lonely

　　alone指独自一人或只有.

　　lonely强调孤独的感觉,指人时意为孤独,指地方时意为荒凉的,无人居住的.

　　Though he was alone on the island, he didn’t feel lonely.

　　虽然他独自一人在岛上,但他并不觉得孤独.

　　(5) too, also, either

　　这三词做副词时都可以表示也的意思,但用法不同.

　　too 用在肯定句中,多用于句末.

　　also用在肯定句中,多位于句中.

　　either用在否定句中,常放在句末.

　　I enjoy swimming and like football too.

　　我喜欢游泳,也喜欢足球.

　　The skirt is pretty, it is also expensive.

　　裙子很漂亮也很贵.

　　Kate didn’t go to the cinema and Lucy didn’t go either.

　　凯特没去电影院,露西也没去.

　　(6) enough与too….to

　　enough to do意为足以能够做某事

　　too… to…意为太…以至于不能

　　The window is low enough for him to touch.

　　窗户足够低能让他触摸到.

　　She is too young to get married.

　　她太年轻以至于不能结婚.
